Previously, older Pentium MMX models support both, but newer PII models support SDRAM ONLY. Olivetti changed their memory part numbers to SDRAM for ALL MODELS to avoid confusion. It is possible to install one module in a bank and leave the other socket empty; however, banks MUST contain modules of the same capacity if both sockets are full.
